Consecration of the Chapel of the Saint Tecla Foundation – a blessed beginning

Sometimes, beginnings are marked by prayer, gratitude, and divine grace. Other times, they take shape in people who, through sacrifice and love, bring a blessed dream to life. On December 14, 2025, the Saint Tecla Foundation experienced a moment of profound spiritual significance: the consecration of the Chapel dedicated to Saint John the Baptist and Saint Simeon the Fool for Christ—a new place of prayer and comfort for the souls of the faithful.

The consecration service was performed with great joy by Bishop Timotei Prahoveanu, together with a group of priests, in the presence of the faithful, benefactors, and workers of this blessed project. In a spirit of celebration and gratitude, everyone’s hearts were united in prayer, marking the beginning of the journey under God’s protection.

On this occasion, His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel presented awards as a sign of gratitude to the founders, benefactors, and architects who, through their dedication and perseverance, contributed to the construction of this place of worship. Every gesture, every sacrifice, and every prayer became invisible bricks in a work built on faith.

Starting today, the Chapel of the Saint Tecla Foundation has opened its doors to all believers, following the liturgical program published on the foundation’s website, as a place of encounter with God and spiritual strengthening for those in search of peace and hope.

At the end of the event, 300 food packages were distributed, and all those present were invited to a meal of love, in a spirit of fellowship and gratitude. This day was a blessing for all of us and a reminder that when we work together in faith, we lay the foundation for deeds that bring light and hope into people’s lives.
