The Sacrament of Holy Unction – St. Cyril of Alexandria – Dorobanți Parish, 166 Calea Dorobanți

On this day, we commemorate Saint Cyril, Archbishop of Alexandria; Saint Enata the Martyr; Saint Martha the Martyr; Saint David of Gareji, Georgia; Saint Mariamni the Martyr; Saint Thecla the Martyr; and Saint Mary the Martyr.

Saint Cyril of Alexandria, commemorated by the Church on June 9, was one of the greatest defenders of the true faith and a tireless witness to Christian teaching. Through his theological wisdom, his zeal for the truth, and his pastoral work, he defended the divinity of the Savior Jesus Christ and contributed to preserving the unity of the faith in the Church. His life and writings remain a testimony to his devotion to God and his responsibility to preserve the truth of the Gospel unaltered. His commemoration urges us to strengthen our faith, to seek spiritual wisdom, and to courageously bear witness to Christian values in our daily lives.

We warmly welcome you to the Chapel of the Saint Thecla Foundation!
