Vespers – St. Agrippina the Martyr, St. Aristocles the Martyr

On this day, we commemorate the Assembly of Saints of Vladimir, the Veneration of the Holy Icon of the Mother of God “The Loving One” of the Caves of Pskov, the Veneration of the Holy Icon of the Mother of God “Zaonikievskaya,” Saint Aristocles the Martyr, Priest, Saint Agrippina the Martyr, and the Veneration of the Holy Icon of the Mother of God of Vladimir.

Saint Agrippina the Martyr and Saint Aristocles the Martyr are honored by the Church for their unwavering faith and for the courage with which they confessed Christ during times of persecution. Through their sacrifice and steadfastness, these saints showed that love for God is stronger than any suffering or worldly threat. Their lives and martyrdom remain a living testimony to the power of faith and hope in God’s promises. Honoring them urges us to remain steadfast in the truth, to strengthen our faith in the face of trials, and to bear witness with dignity to Christian values through word and deed.
