Agape and Catechesis – Sunday of the Romanian Saints

On this day, we commemorate Saint Elisha the Prophet, Saint Justin Popovich, Saint Methodius the Hierarch, Patriarch of Constantinople, and the Second Sunday after Pentecost (of the Romanian Saints).

The Sunday of the Romanian Saints is the day on which the Church honors all the saints who shone on the soil of our country through faith, asceticism, sacrifice, and love for God. From martyrs and hierarchs to ascetics and confessors of the faith, they have enriched the spiritual heritage of the Romanian people and left future generations authentic models of Christian living. Through their lives and example, the Romanian Saints show us that holiness is possible at any time and in any place, when a person responds with faith and steadfastness to God’s call. This feast day urges us to follow their example, to preserve our Christian identity, and to cultivate the values of the Gospel in our families, in our communities, and throughout our lives.

We warmly welcome you to the Chapel of the Saint Tecla Foundation, in a warm and welcoming setting!
