The Sacrament of Holy Unction – St. Jude the Apostle, Relative of the Lord – St. Sophia Parish, 216 Calea Floreasca

On this day, we commemorate Saint Paisius the Great and Saint Jude the Apostle, the Lord’s kinsman.

Saint Jude the Apostle, the Lord’s kinsman, is honored by the Church for his unwavering faith and for the zeal with which he preached the Gospel of Christ. As one of the Twelve Apostles, he dedicated his life to preaching the divine truth, urging the faithful to remain steadfast in their faith and to preserve unaltered the teaching received from the Savior. Through his words and the example of his life, Saint Jude reminds us of the importance of courageously bearing witness to the faith and of living in love, humility, and obedience to God. His veneration calls us to strengthen our bond with Christ and to faithfully follow the path of the Gospel in all circumstances of life.

We warmly welcome you to the Chapel of the Saint Thecla Foundation, in a warm and welcoming setting!
