The Sacrament of Holy Unction – The Synaxis of the Twelve Holy Apostles

On this day, we commemorate Saint Gelasius of Râmeț, the Synaxis of the Twelve Holy Apostles, Saint Gervasius of Patras, and the Veneration of the Holy Icon of the Mother of God “Balikinskaya.”

The Synaxis of the Holy Twelve Apostles is the feast dedicated to those whom the Savior Jesus Christ chose and sent to preach the Gospel to the ends of the earth. Through their unwavering faith, their self-sacrifice, and their apostolic zeal, the Twelve laid the foundation of the Church and spread the light of Christian teaching among the nations. Their lives and works are a living testimony to the power of divine grace, which transforms and strengthens those called to serve God. The veneration of the Holy Apostles urges us to remain steadfast in the faith, to courageously bear witness to the truth of the Gospel, and to cultivate communion with Christ and His Church.

We warmly welcome you to the Chapel of the Saint Thecla Foundation, in a warm and welcoming setting!
